What do fashion and the new Sapphire waterfront development at the Kingston Foreshore have in common? The girls from The Fashion Vault and Keggins property developers helped answer this for us on Thursday night with a fashion show celebrating all things beauty, sophisticated design, quality and craftmanship. Just like the pieces on display at the fashion show, the new 6 story Sapphire development on the foreshore will embody all of these qualities.
The show was held at the Sapphire display suite on the waterfront giving us a little taste of what life on the Kingston foreshore would be like in one of the new Sapphire apartments. Before the show we had the chance to browse the displays and admire the new development plans while nibbling on slice, cheese and biscuits from the most spectacular grazing platter.
The apartments are high end and the interiors are fitted out with all of the most amazing, quality inclusions you could hope for including Miele appliances in the kitchen and a freestanding bath and stone and timber finishes in the bathrooms. The complex even has its own concierge! Fancy, right?
The evening runway event hosted by Janette, Deejay and Sofia from the Fashion Vault was just as elegant and sophisticated as the Sapphire apartments and featured looks inspired by the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia. Labels on display included Bec & Bridge, Thurley and Shona Joy and we were given some great tips from the girls throughout the show of how to style and wear each of the pieces.
The evening was a really enjoyable and very sophisticated fusion of property and fashion and I definitely left dreaming about a new luxurious penthouse apartment with a private balcony overlooking the waterfront.
