It’s almost 2016 (I know, where did the year go?) and that time of the year when all of us diary obsessed folk start getting very excited about fresh new pages to plan out our year.
This year I attempted the whole paperless thing and used a combination of Fantastical, Wunderlist and Evernote to keep on top of tasks and important dates. Although I swear by these apps, nothing beats the feeling of putting pen to paper in that perfect fresh new diary. So this year I am reverting back to old habits and have been obsessing over all of the amazing diaries and planners out there for 2016.
There are so many diaries and planners to choose from but to help you make up your mind quickly before the start of the new year I have created a little list of a few of my favourite picks.
Little Papeterie have produced a gorgeous, black & white print diary that is minimal yet fun. It has some nice little added features including a monthly bill page and inspirational quotes and a very easy and functional layout to keep you organised.
2. Kikki-K Weekly Leather Diary
Kikki-k have always been my go-to for beautiful and functional diaries. You really can never go wrong ! My favourites are always the A5 weekly planners and this year they have some very pretty pastel colours like this one in pastel blue with gold foil.
3. Typo 2016 Inspiration Diary
For those of us that need a little bit more inspiration to survive the year the Typo Inspiration Diary is also a top pick for me. The diary features a little bit of gold and many fun prints throughout with an inspiring quote to get you started each month. Plus, it also comes in black!
Another long-term favourite I have used many times in the past is the Frankie Diary. Every year Frankie produces a whimsical fun filled diary of pretty florals and cute designs. I am loving the yellow cloth-bound cover this year.
I have always been a diary girl but this year I have finally decided to give a ring-bound planner a go. I have always loved Kikki-k’s leather planners and although I opted for black, it was a close toss up with this gorgeous mint coloured planner. Not only does a planner give you plenty of space to keep everything but there are so many cute printables out there to customise and decorate your planner so you will never get bored.
Have I missed your favourite? Let me know in the comments below.
Love this, I am diary obsessed – I’ve gone with your #2 the kiki k leather diary, and I’m happy to say they understand us crazies… They threw the last few weeks of the year at the start so you don’t have to wait #perfection
P.S. Also Sat and Sun are ‘fullsize’ days, which is plus 10 points from me, I hate when diaries squish the weekend – it is short enough already!
Oh yes, I absolutely love the leather Kikki k diary! The layout of that diary is my favourite of all – so much space to write! I almost bought the black one this year before I changed my mind and decided to try the planner out instead. Lovely to hear from another fellow diary lover š
