The weather is warming up and the festive season is almost upon us bringing plenty of opportunities to dine and relax with family and friends. The dining table always gets a good work out during this time of the year so why not give your table setting a little Spring makeover to add a bit of fun to your meals and impress your guests. Here’s a few little tips on how I have styled my table for Spring!
I’ve always opted for a minimal table setting with white plates and neutral colours but after falling in love with the new Ladelle Accord range I have given my table setting a vibrant, floral makeover that really embraces Spring.
The addition of colour is an essential for any Spring table setting. For me, Spring brings to mind a beautiful soft pastel colour palette with layers of fun floral prints and patterns. I’ve chosen the Mia range of plates from Ladelle that come in the most perfect blush and sky blue colours that really add a pop of colour to my setting. If you aren’t keen on colourful dinnerware and want to stick with traditional white you could also add a pop of colour or prints to your setting through your table decorations, napkins or table cloth.
There’s nothing more important to a Spring table setting than a beautiful bunch of Spring blooms arranged in a vase or jar in the centre of the table. If you don’t have the budget to buy fresh flowers even a few faux flowers will do the trick.
To finish off your Spring entertaining look and really create something beautiful you could even style your food in with your table setting. And what better way to celebrate Spring than with cake? These new mini cakes from The Cheesecake Shop Mini Cake range are literally the perfect icing on the cake for a Spring table setting makeover. They are the perfect size for a centrepiece and make a great little treat to share with your family or friends after dinner.
I hope these tips have given you some great ideas for your Spring dining table setting and you are all set for entertaining your family and friends and enjoying the beautiful warm Spring weather!
